The Paducah Chapter of the NAACP is holding a march for the laying of a wreath at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Monument on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Attendees will meet in the parking lot of NY Lounge (2714 Park Avenue) at 9 a.m. and walk in the median to the monument which is located on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near North 19th Street. There will be a police escort.
Following the march is a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at Paducah Tilghman High School (tickets are required). The keynote speaker is Charles Booker. For ticket information, visit Paducah McCracken County NAACP.
