The Paducah Tennis Association and Paducah Parks & Recreation are providing Spring Tennis Sundays for kids ages 4 to 18 at the Paducah Tilghman High School Chad Gamble Tennis Courts. These clinics are for beginner, intermediate, and advanced tennis players. They are held Sunday afternoons from April 18 to May 23. Clinics will not be held Sunday, May 9 due to Mother’s Day.
Beginner Level: The beginner level is for players at least four years of age who are currently in kindergarten, first, or second grade. Beginners will meet from 1 until 2 p.m. The registration fee is $80.
Intermediate Level: The intermediate level is for 3rd through 12th grade students who are new to the sport or not active in summer USTA tournaments. The intermediate level will meet from 2:15 until 3:45 p.m. The registration fee is $100.
Advanced Level: The advanced level is for players active in summer USTA tournaments. Advanced players will play from 4 until 5:30 p.m. The registration fee is $100.
To register, call the Paducah Parks and Recreation office at 270-444-8508, Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. or register online at www.paducahky.gov/registration. The pre-registration deadline is Thursday, April 15. Registration also will be available on April 18 at the PTHS Chad Gamble Tennis Courts. Since spots are limited, prior registration is encouraged.
