The Paducah Public Works Department wants the public to be aware of a project on Jefferson Street that will affect the streetlights located along the boulevard section.
A contractor working for the City is upgrading the electrical components on the poles located in the median of Jefferson Street. To accomplish this, the streetlights will be turned off in sections in the locations where the contractor is working. This project begins this week and will last approximately three to four weeks.
